A substantial three bedroom detached town house with
swimming pool for sale in Tomar, Central Portugal. The house, which is

Ground Floor: To the ground floor of

There is a spacious entrance vestibule,
which has a ceramic tiled floor and coving to the ceiling. There are two
sets of part glazed oak double doors which lead into the living room and
a hallway.
The living room of the house is triple
aspect and has been partially divided with a half wall with a stone
pillar. There are two internal entrances to the living room from two
separate hallways. Both of these entrances have double, part glazed oak
doors with detailed surrounds.. The living room has three sets of part
glazed patio doors. One set of these patio doors leads out to a covered
terrace at the front of the house, another to the side and the third set
leads out to the patio garden to the rear of the house.
The living room has a tiled floor and
decorative coving to the ceilings as well as a central stone fireplace
with a Salamander cassette log burner, which is fitted with a
re-circulating hot air feature.
The kitchen, which is double aspect, also
has a tiled floor and partially tiled walls. All the essential service
pipes are in place, however the cabinetry is not included within the
sale price. The kitchen has a set of part glazed patio doors which lead
out to a private covered dining area to the rear of the house. This
dining area has exterior lighting and exterior electricity sockets. Off
the kitchen there is a fully tiled pantry.
In the hallway there is a large floor to

Tomar is home to the UNESCO listed Convento
do Cristo, which was the headquarters of the Knight Templars during the

There are a plethora of forests, hills and lakes including Portugal's
second largest reservoir, Castelo do Bode, which is 40 miles long.
Castelo do Bode lake is approximately 20
minutes drive from the property and is used for all kinds of water

water skiing and canoeing.

access links to the IC3 Tomar to Coimbra road as well as the A23, the
east west dual carriageway across central Portugal.

at Lisbon, which is approximately one and a half hours by car. Lisbon
airport is serviced by several low-cost airlines which operate regular
