The farm is situated in
a rural location, but is close to the historic town of Tomar. The farm
is connected to both mains water and electricity and has a private
septic tank. The farm briefly comprises:
Cottages: The
cottages are semi detached and are a traditional Portuguese design. The
cottages are set over one floor, however one of the cottages does have a
spacious attic, which at present is accessed via an exterior staircase
but could be converted. The cottages have two living rooms, one of which
with a traditional Portuguese fireplace. There are three bedrooms (two
in one cottage and one in the other). All of the bedrooms have tiled
floors. There is a spacious kitchen with a selection of base and eye
level wood units. The kitchen also accommodates a dining area. There is
a partially tiled bathroom with a bath with shower above. There is also
a partially tiled cloakroom toilet with vanity basin and bidet. There is
a sun room to the rear of one of the cottages, which leads out to the
land.
The attic, which has a
terrace with good views over the countryside, is accessed via an
external staircase. The attic has a concrete floor and the roof is
wooden beamed and in reasonably good condition. In front of the cottages
there are walled gardens.
There is an adega, which
is located to the rear of the cottages. This adega is fully equipped for
making wine and has a large bottle store as well as a wine press. There
are additional brick built storage buildings, animals corrals and a room
for storing the farm equipment.
The farmland is all flat
and a lot is cultivated with vines. There are many mature fruit trees
including olives and oranges. The farm has two wells and a large water
storage tank. |
