If you plan to fly your dog to Portugal you must contact the airline
you choose, for their requirements and for advice.
Both British Airways and TAP Portugal fly into Lisbon and are happy
to transport your dogs.
TAP allows the transportation of animals in Economy Class cabins
(subject to a limited number)
In Top Executive Class it is permitted in the cabin on medium haul
flights (subject to a limited number)
On long haul aircraft (A310, A320 and A340) animals must travel in
the hold.
On connecting medium haul flights the animal must travel in the hold
for the entire journey.
British Airways transport all dogs in the hold.
You have to supply your pet with the necessary food and water for
the journey. |
