A one bedroom country cottage for rent fully furnished. The cottage, which benefits from central heating, has a double bedroom, a bathroom and a kitchen living room, which also has a sofa bed. It has all modern facilities and can accommodate two to three people. The kitchen has a gas cooker with an electric oven and a microwave. The cottage also has wireless internet connection, a DVD player and CD/Radio. A cot is available for children up to three years old. There is a barbecue area with garden furniture and a patio area within an enclosed garden. The cottage is sited on a seven acre farm, which has a small equestrian centre. The cottage is close to the hamlet of Hortas. The market town of Cabaços, which has cafe bars, restaurants, shops, a mini market and a weekly vegetable market, is five minutes drive by car. The larger town of Alvaiázere, which has supermarkets, cafe bars, restaurants and shops is approximately 15 minutes by car. The world heritage town of Tomar is approximately 25 minutes away. Lessons for riders from beginners upwards, or those just wishing to ride out in the surrounding lanes and forests can be arranged. A pony is also available for children to ride.
